# Deleting your account

> How to delete your Slicer account on the web or in the app, what is deleted at once, what is kept and whether you can sign up again with the same email.

You can delete your account at any time — on the web or in the app. Deletion cannot be undone: projects, reels and files disappear right away, and tokens on the balance are lost.

**Demo (iPhone):**

1. “Sign-in and security”, at the bottom — “Delete account”
2. Tap “Delete account” — the “Delete the account?” sheet with an explanation
3. The “Enter your email to confirm” field and the “Delete forever” button

## Before deleting

-   **Download the reels** you want to keep: the project's “⋯” menu → **Download** (in the app — **Save**).
-   **Spend your tokens** or accept losing them — they cannot be returned after deletion.
-   **Disconnect social accounts** if you want to revoke Slicer's access on the platforms right away: **Profile** → **Social accounts**.

## How to delete

### 1. Open the sign-in settings

**Profile** → **Sign-in and security** → **Delete account** at the bottom.

### 2. Confirm your email

The **Delete the account?** sheet explains what will be deleted. Type your account's address into the **Enter your email to confirm** field.

### 3. Delete

Tap **Delete forever**. If you signed in long ago, **Confirm it is you** appears first — enter your password or sign in with your provider. After deletion you will see **Account deleted**, and an email is sent to you.

## What is deleted

Right away:

-   all projects, reels, versions and uploaded files, your style templates;
-   montages that were running at that moment — they are stopped;
-   your email, name and sign-in methods (VK ID, Google, Apple);
-   sign-in on all devices.

## What is kept

-   **Financial records** of purchases and charges — anonymized, as accounting law requires.
-   **A mark that the free reel on this email has been used.** It is not the email itself but its irreversible fingerprint. If you sign up with the same address again, you get a new empty account — but without a free reel.
-   **The security log** — entries about sign-ins and account actions; their details are stored encrypted.
