# Ratings and problem reports

> How to rate Slicer, report a problem with the AI edit, editor, export or payment, and where to see the team's reply.

Source: https://docs.slicer.media/en/guide/help/feedback/

If the AI cut something wrong, the editor behaved oddly or the export failed — write to us right from Slicer. The team gets the message at once, and the reply comes by email and shows up in **My reports**. And rating the app helps us see what works well.

**Demo (iPhone):**

1. Open the project's “⋯” menu and tap “Report a problem”
2. Choose what's wrong — for example, “AI edit” — and describe what happened
3. Add a screenshot and keep “Attach project data for diagnosis” on
4. Tap “Send” — the message has gone to the Slicer team
5. Profile → “My reports” — the status and the team's reply

## Report a problem

### 1. Open the form

**Report a problem** is in the project's “⋯” menu, on the card of a failed edit or export, at the bottom of Help (**Didn’t find an answer?**) and in **Profile**. Opened from a project, the form already knows which project it's about and picks what's wrong from the latest run.

### 2. Describe the problem

Choose what's wrong: **AI edit**, **Editor**, **Export and publishing**, **AI operation**, **Payment** or **Other** — and describe what you did and what happened instead (at least 10 characters). You can add up to three screenshots.

### 3. Attach project data

**Attach project data for diagnosis** is on by default: the team will see the project status, the latest run, its stages and error codes. Video and the reel's text are not sent. Turn it off if you prefer.

### 4. Send it

**Send** — the Slicer team gets the message, and the reply comes to your account's email.

## My reports

**Profile** → **My reports** — all your messages with their status (**New**, **In progress**, **Resolved**, **Closed**) and the team's reply.

## Rate Slicer

Sometimes after a successful export Slicer asks **How do you like Slicer?**: give one to five stars and, if you like, write what you like or miss. **Not now** postpones the question; after three refusals Slicer stops asking. You can rate at any time too — **Profile** → **Rate Slicer**.

**Web**

The rating and review go to the Slicer team.

**iPhone and iPad**

The rating and review go to the Slicer team, and then iOS may offer to rate the app on the App Store — in its own window. The App Store rating doesn't depend on the stars in Slicer; iOS shows that window at most three times a year.

## Good to know

- Messages and reviews are stored encrypted, and only the Slicer team reads them — [Data storage](https://docs.slicer.media/en/guide/help/data/#feedback).
- An urgent payment question — check [Troubleshooting](https://docs.slicer.media/en/guide/help/troubleshooting/) first.
