Project list
The Slicer home screen, Projects — a new project, search, sorting and the status filter, project cards, statuses and the action menu.
Projects is the Slicer home screen. All your reels are here: finished ones, those being edited right now and those that failed. A new reel starts here too.
The demo will appear here

The demo will appear here
Step 1 of 2
- Wide screen: the sidebar on the left, projects as a grid of 9:16 covers
- Right-click a cover — the project menu in the middle of the screen
New project
The New project button at the top opens the How shall we edit it? screen: With the AI director — a full-screen three-step wizard, or Edit it myself — a free project that opens straight in the editor (Project without AI). If the free first reel is still available, the button says Your first reel is free underneath. How to go through the wizard — in the tutorial.
While there are no projects, the list shows the hint Your first project in three steps.
Search, sorting and status
Above the list is a bar with three buttons:
- Search — the round magnifier button expands into a Search by title field. The cross or Esc closes the search.
- Sorting — Newest first, Oldest first, By title, Longest first. The button shows a short name: Newest, Oldest, Longest.
- Status — All, Ready, Drafts, In progress, Failed.
The choice opens in a sheet. If nothing matches, you will see Nothing found — change the filter or the search.
Project card
A card shows the cover with the duration, the title, the stage or status and the creation date:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Queued | the montage is waiting for its turn on the server |
| Editing | work is in progress; instead of the status — the current stage and a progress bar |
| Ready | the reel is assembled, you can edit and export it |
| Draft | an Edit it myself project that hasn't been exported yet |
| Failed | the montage failed — the card shows the reason and, if tokens were reserved, Tokens refunded |
| Cancelled | the montage was stopped |
The Watermarked label marks the free reel until you buy a pack.
Tap a card to open the project: a finished one and a draft open in the Editor section, others — in Media. More — Project: media, settings, editor.
Project menu
Right-click a card, or long-press it on a touch screen.
Long-press a card.
The menu has:
- Open — open the project;
- Editor — straight to the editor (for a finished project while the sources are kept);
- Download (in the app — Save) and Share — for a finished reel (a draft doesn't have them until it's exported);
- Delete project — after confirmation the reel and its media are deleted for good.
Wide screen
From 960 px (a computer, an iPad in landscape, a window on a Mac), a sidebar on the left replaces the header and the bottom tabs, and projects are shown as a grid of 9:16 covers. Sheets open as a dialog in the middle.
What's next
- Project: media, settings, editor
- Project without AI — edit by hand, for free.
- Retry and stop — if a montage failed.
